HOW YOU CAN HELP

We believe we are unique in the UK in taking a professional orchestra into schools to ensure that no child misses the opportunity to hear a live orchestral concert. The cost of this is currently £800 per school; each school is asked to pay half and the balance is funded by grants, etc.

The subsidised cost per child of our schools’ concerts is £2 (full cost £4); £400 will finance a concert experience to all the children in a standard primary school; £1600 will enable the NMO to add one more full day of concerts (ie 4 schools/800+ children) to its schedule. Sponsorship of public concerts is also welcomed.

The NMO is supported by a small but committed group of Trustees and other volunteers. If you are interested in joining  either to promote and develop this work please contact the NMO Chairman as above. This will ensure the continuity and expansion of our work in the years to come.
